PRESS RELEASE MANSFIELD, OHIO - Local Indy fans drove Habitat for Humanity of Richland County to a $3,526 donation from Lowe's this weekend during the Acura Challenge. Simulating the work done during construction of a Habitat house, fans pounded nails into boards at The Team Lowe's Fan Experience, scoring a $1 per-nail donation for construction of a local Habitat home.
“It's great to involve INDY fans in the work of Habitat,” said Veronna Drane, Richland County Habitat for Humanity Executive Director. “We had a great time meeting people

this weekend, and we appreciate Lowe's partnership. Most importantly, this donation will help us build a home right here in Richland County.” The Habitat activity at Team Lowe's Fan Experience is a new component in the national partnership between Lowe's and Habitat. Building on its 60-year history of home improvement and community involvement, Lowe's joined forces with Habitat for Humanity International to impact communities across the country. Approaching $20 million in contributions over the past four years, Lowe's is the underwriter of Habitat's Women Build program. As active participants in a variety of Habitat projects from coast to coast, hundreds of Lowe's volunteers offer their time and expertise to help Habitat homeowners build their dreams each year.

Thank You To Our Supporters
We would like to say thanks to some of our many loyal supporters. We sincerely appreciate all of our volunteers and those who make donations of all kinds to the Habitat for Humanity efforts.
There are some organizations, however, that stand out above the rest because they care enough to always be there, and deserve our special thanks. The sponsors below have shown overwhelming generosity and dedication to many of our builds. Their continued support makes it all possible.
It would be nearly impossible to list every single person and business that we are sincerely grateful to. With more than forty homes completed, it has taken the efforts of many, many people. Thank you all!
