We are the Mansfield/Richland County chapter of Habitat For Humanity International. Our office is located at 2131 Park Avenue West in Ontario, at the intersection of Lexington-Springmill Road in the Hawkins Corner complex.
Our mission is to eliminate substandard, poverty housing in our community. This can be accomplished through our ecumencical, Christian ministry, that is seeking to utilize a diverse stratum of volunteers and financial contributors, who can all work together in partnership, constructing homes for qualified families.
Our mission also includes building new relationships and sense of community, while bringing new housing opportunities to deserving families in our community. We are always needing more people, materials, and financial resources to continue doing what we do.

State Farm agent Jason Guilliams is shown in the photo at the left, presenting a check in the amount of $10,000 to Veronna Drane, the director of the Richland County chapter of Habitat For Humanity. This money will be used in Neighborhood Revitalization projects. We wish to thank State Farm for their generous support of Habitat, and for their concern for improving the landscape of Mansfield and the surrounding communities that our local chapter serves.
Apply For Habitat Housing
From time to time, Richland County Habitat for Humanity accepts applications from those who wish to be considered for future home building projects. Interested parties should monitor our website periodically to learn more about the times and locations that the applications are being taken.
We do not provide emergency housing, and the applying families will need to go through a due process of steps in order to become one of the partner families we can actually help. But it won't happen at all if there is no attempt, and it has to start somewhere. For more information, click here!

This touching video was created from photographs taken during a recent trip to Mozambique, Africa. It features the volunteers that made this fantastic voyage for humanity, as well as the locals we met during our stay. From these photos, you can see the way life really is in countries such as this. It brings a sobering reality to how many luxuries we take for granted on a daily basis in our comfort zones in America. Won't you do something to help brighten the lives of a people who have so little to be thankful for? Even the smallest contribution goes a long way in making a big difference for those in need.
