Welcome to Richland Habitat for Humanity
We are the Mansfield/Richland County chapter of Habitat For Humanity International. Our office is located at 201 East Fifth Street, Mansfield, Ohio. We are on the second floor of the Braintree complex.

Our mission is to eliminate substandard, poverty housing in our community. This can be accomplished through our ecumencical, Christian ministry, that is seeking to utilize a diverse stratum of volunteers and financial contributors, who can all work together in partnership, constructing homes for qualified families.

Our mission also includes building new relationships and sense of community, while bringing new housing opportunities to deserving families in our community. We are always needing more people, materials, and financial resources to continue doing what we do.

TAKE A SHORT QUIZ AND RAISE MONEY FOR HABITAT
The Kohler Company has pledged to donate as much as $1 million worth of its plumbing products to Habitat for Humanity as part of an online campaign dedicated to water conservation. Those funds could provide plumbing products for approximately 550 to 600 Habitat homes in the U.S.

The purpose of www.SaveWaterAmerica.com is to educate consumers about the importance of water conservation and water-saving products. For every visitor who takes the simple 3-question quiz, Kohler will donate $1 in water-savings products to Habitat for Humanity.

So take a moment out of your busy day to take the Kohler quiz. You'll be helping the environment and Habitat for Humanity. It only takes a few minutes (only three simple questions) and for each person who does it, Habitat for Humanity benefits.

Two New Builds In Progress

We've broken ground on build number 43, a 3 bedroom house in Shelby, which will someday become a home for a single mother and her son. Meanwhile, build # 42 on Florence Avenue, located between South Main Street and Lexington Avenue near the Family Dollar store, is nearing completion with interior work is well underway.

This single family home is sponsored by First Energy/Ohio Edison and the Community Development Block Grant from the City of Mansfield. Be sure to check back for further updates on this new Habitat project, including pictures.

For more information and photos of these builds, please visit our Projects page.
